The KeepRite® EC 97 Variable-Speed Modulating Gas Furnace featuring the Observer™ communicating system is designed for larger homes where duct zoning may be incorporated into the duct system.
Teamed with the Observer communicating wall control and the appropriate air conditioner or heat pump and indoor coil, the EC 97 functions as part of a complete communicating home comfort system. Various components of the system “talk” to each other electronically, fine-tuning comfort levels while maximizing energy savings with wifi capabilities.

The KeepRite® ET 96 Variable-Speed Two-Stage Gas Furnace is our #1 top selling model as it is quiet, efficient, and priced right offering a considerable reduction in electricity consumption to run the fan, for heating and cooling cycles, as compared to traditional Direct Drive Split Cap Motors. The ECM capability helps us to fine-tune the fan speed for optimum comfort in the winter and efficient dehumidification during the summer. The ‘Observer’ wifi control is optional.
Keeprite IIX 96 (G9MXT)
ECM Nominal Speed / 2 Stage Htg Furnace
The MXT is similar to the MXE but without the Variable Speed capability. It has a DC fan with simple speed selections for heat, cool, and continuous operation. Two-stage redundant gas valve and two-speed induced draft blower adjust to higher or lower settings when more or less heat is needed. Heated air is delivered by an efficient DC ECM blower motor. This model is also compatible with two-stage cooling. Advanced dehumidification capability can reduce additional moisture in the air when paired with an air conditioner or heat pump and a humidity-sensing thermostat.

The DLX is similar to the MXT but offers basic ‘single stage’ heating. It still has a DC fan with simple speed selections for heat, cool, and continuous operation as described with the MXT. Heated air is delivered by an efficient DC ECM blower motor. Advanced dehumidification capability can reduce additional moisture in the air when paired with an air conditioner or heat pump and a humidity-sensing thermostat.
